Installing Flash In Firefox

Although if you keep up with the lastest distros you will keep firefox up to date. However it will always be behind a few versions. I prefer to download the latest firefox and run it from there. One downfall is some times flash wont work right off the extract of firefox.tar.gz.

To install flash go to adobes site and download the tar.gz for flash.

Copy the flash library to the global firefox folder:

cp libflashplayer.so /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/
